Pastor Roger Larsen was born in Hollywood, California. Yes, Hollywood, and no, he does not have a star in the Walk-of-Fame (still working on that one.) Roger and his wife, Denali, were both born and raised in California. Denali attended Thunderbird Academy in Arizona and graduated from Paradise Academy in Paradise, California. Roger joined the Victorville SDA Church of Green Tree in 1983 the same year he graduated from Victor Valley Senior High.
The Larsen’s married in southern California and journeyed east in 1989 to the Idaho Conference where Roger served as a Literature Evangelist for the North Pacific Union Conference for three years.
Roger completed his degree in theology in 1994 and graduated from Weimar College while working as a Bible Worker for the Northern California Conference at the Sunset Oaks Seventh-day Adventist Church formerly called Rocklin.
The Larsen’s began their ministry in the Kansas-Nebraska Conference in May of 1994 and have served two districts in Kansas and two in Nebraska.
Currently Roger is working on a masters degree from Andrews University, and Denali is working on an associates degree in nursing. Roger teaches 9th and 10th grade Bible at Wichita Adventist Christian Academy and Denali directs the choir at WACA.
The Larsen’s enjoy their ministry at Wichita Seventh-day Adventist Church, and see God’s grace and handiwork demonstrated in its members.
Roger and Denali along with their two children, Chantal and Brett, enjoy hobbies that include music, more music, ancient history, and various outdoor activities.
